Although AJ stayed active in various school sports, she became more serious about her health during college when she fell in love with running as a way to relieve stress and whittle away the “Freshman 15”. She has since completed numerous local races. Step aerobics, racquetball, weight training and spinning later became her passions as well. AJ’s fitness obsession soon prompted her to pursue her personal training certification. Her goal is to not only put each of her clients through a great workout, but to empower them with knowledge and enthusiasm while leading them in a direction to ultimately make a lifestyle change….both mentally and physically.
Danielle has loved the Group Exercise environment since she was in Jr. High and attended her mom’s aerobics classes. Her mom managed a fitness center and she loved hanging out there all day during the summers. She was on her high school’s track team and has completed the Chicago Marathon and three half marathons. She was in the Navy for four years and enjoyed her time being stationed in San Diego. After the Navy she enrolled at Illinois State University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She has worked for the same firm for the past 11 years as a Software Engineer, but her heart will always be in the fitness industry.
