Although AJ stayed active in various school sports, she became more serious about her health during college when she fell in love with running as a way to relieve stress and whittle away the “Freshman 15”. She has since completed numerous local races. Step aerobics, racquetball, weight training and spinning later became her passions as well. AJ’s fitness obsession soon prompted her to pursue her personal training certification. Her goal is to not only put each of her clients through a great workout, but to empower them with knowledge and enthusiasm while leading them in a direction to ultimately make a lifestyle change….both mentally and physically.
Greg grew up in Southern California and has been involved in athletics his whole life. He excelled in high-school sports but honed his specialty in running the hurdles in Track. In fact, he ran for an exclusive track club in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil while there as an exchange student. After high-school, he ran the hurdles and sprint events for a university in Northern California. Greg was also on the university triathlon team and actually won the first triathlon he entered. A few years later, he found himself in the Marine Corps stationed in Quantico, Virginia.
While in the Marine Corps, Greg got seriously involved in lifting weights, cycling, and started to do some personal training. He even completed the Marine Corps Marathon. Along with the other training, Greg woke up at 4am and trained with the Navy Seal team that was located near the base. Also, during his Marine Corps time, he earned his black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate. After the Marine Corps, Greg took a job working for a company in Chicago and he moved to Illinois. He served one year in Iraq during 2003.
In the past few years, Greg has found a new hobby: bodybuilding. He has competed in 2 competitions and is currently preparing for a third competition this fall. Greg lives in Lake Villa with his two German Shepherds. His passion is helping other people to reach their fitness goals.

Exercise and fitness has always been a part of Twyla’s life. She started running in High School and added lifting and swimming in college. After earning her undergraduate degree in Communications from North ParkUniversity, she worked in marketing for four years. When her son was born, she made the choice to stay home with her children. Fitness remained a constant through those years and Twyla experienced many forms of cardio while continuing to lift; most recently she has discovered the fun of triathlons and long distance biking. As Twyla achieved her own goals, her desire to help others reach their specific goals intensified and she became more involved in the pursuit of health and fitness.
